The KneeAlign™ system is designed to fit within the surgeon's normal technique and to minimize time and complexity.

The KneeAlign™ system is made up of two key components:

bullet

The KneeAlign™ tibial jig, which is similar to a
conventional extramedullary tibial jig, but enables the surgeon to
establish the tibia’s mechanical axis by registering anatomic
landmarks. After completing the registration process, the
surgeon is able to precisely orient the tibial cutting block
using the angular measurements from the KneeAlign™
unit and the surgeon’s clinical judgment.

bullet

The KneeAlign™ surgical navigation unit, which is attached to the
moving arm of the KneeAlign™ tibial jig and provides the
surgeon with real-time feedback on the cutting block’s orientation
relative to the tibia. The KneeAlign™ unit contains a computer
and sensors and is slightly larger than a smartphone.
